AMCHAM INDEX OF PRICES – OCTOBER 2015

Over the last year (the base is 100 at 30 September 2014) the AAIP rose by 11.92 percent for Azerbaijani consumers and 11.77 for Expatriate consumers.
In the 3rd quarter of 2015 the AAIP rose by 1.59 percent for Azerbaijani consumers and 1.63 for Expatriate consumers. The largest upward effect on the AAIP rate came from Sugar& Sweets; Dairy & Related Products and Fat & Oils where Index of Prices rose by 3.87, 3.57 and 3.50 percent respectively.
The only downward effect on the AAIP rate came from Fruits & Vegetables where Index of Prices went down by 1.57 percent due to seasonal affects.
