Education & Vocational Working Group

The Working Group serves as a strategic platform to align education with market needs and will help businesses shape talent development initiatives that enhance competitiveness and drive long-term economic growth.

The EVWG focuses on the following key objectives:

• Identifying and addressing workforce, knowledge, and collaboration gaps to ensure stronger links between business, education, and policy stakeholders;
• Fostering local and international partnerships between businesses and educational institutions to develop market-driven training programs and prepare a skilled workforce that meets industry needs;
• Introducing and localizing globally recognized education standards and professional certifications in Azerbaijan;
• Creating development pathways for future professionals through industry-led training, mentorship, and internship programs;
• Exploring innovation and investment opportunities in the education and training ecosystem, including the development of new learning technologies, upskilling solutions, and public–private partnerships that can foster sustainable growth.
