ÇİMTAŞ STEEL IS TO DELIVER THE WORLD'S TALLEST FLAGPOLE

Early this year, Çimtaş Steel of Turkey has been awarded a contract to Supply, Fabricate, and Transport the steel sections of Azerbaijan’s new flagpole to stand at the existing “National Flag Square” in Baku.Çimtaş Steel, is the fabricator of choice for the 2 of the Top 5 Longest Suspension Bridges in the World, including the work-in-progress “1915 Çanakkale Bridge” that will soon be opened to traffic in March 2022. The bridge will be the longest one in the World with its main span length of 2023 meters, which proudly signifies the 100th anniversary of foundation of the Republic of Turkey. From the very beginning of Baku’s new flagpole project, Çimtaş Steel decided to launch an office in Baku to be closer to the client and provide its integrated solutions over the course of the project. Later, in May 2021, a fully owned subsidiary of Çimtaş Group, “Çimtaş Steel Construction LLC” was registered in Azerbaijan, and shortly after, Baku office has become operational.
